Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Dawnify processes information when you use the Dawnify iOS app or this website.
Contact
Dawnify is responsible for the information described in this policy. For privacy questions or data requests, email support@dawnify.app.
Information stored on your device
Dawnify stores alarm schedules, mission settings, timers, habits, focus settings, and preferences on your device to provide the app’s features. Screen Time selections are handled through Apple’s Family Controls framework; Dawnify receives opaque selections rather than a person’s app-usage history.
Sign in with Apple
Sign in with Apple is optional. If you choose to use it, Dawnify stores the Apple user identifier and any name or email address Apple shares on your device for your local profile. Dawnify does not use these details for advertising or sell them. Sign-in does not sync or back up your alarms, focus history, or other app data; Dawnify has no account server.
Permissions you choose to grant
Dawnify requests permissions only for features you choose to use. These can include notifications and alarm access, Screen Time, Camera, Microphone, Speech Recognition, Motion & Fitness, Photos, and Apple Music/media-library access. You can decline optional permissions and change them later in iOS Settings.
Subscriptions
Dawnify subscriptions and free trials are processed by Apple through the App Store. Dawnify does not collect or store payment-card details. Apple manages billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds under its terms for your account region.
Diagnostics
Third-party diagnostic sharing is disabled in the current version of Dawnify. The app does not provide a diagnostics-sharing control and does not send crash, performance, or product-use information to Sentry or PostHog. If a future version adds optional diagnostic sharing, it will require your affirmative choice and this policy will be updated first.
How information is used and shared
Information is used to operate Dawnify, respond to support requests, and process App Store purchases. We do not sell personal information. Apple processes App Store purchases. We may disclose information when required by law or during a business transfer.
Retention and deletion
Most Dawnify data remains on your device until you remove it or delete the app. In updated app versions that provide this deletion flow, a user who has signed in with Apple can open Settings > Account > Delete Account to remove Dawnify's local Apple user identifier, saved name, email, and onboarding questionnaire answers. Independently stored alarms, focus history, and app settings remain available in guest mode; these on-device records can be removed by deleting the app.
Dawnify does not retain Apple access or refresh tokens and does not automatically revoke Apple's sign-in authorization. After deleting the local profile, you can disconnect Dawnify in your device's Settings > your name > Sign in with Apple; select Dawnify or its developer, choose Delete or Stop Using Apple ID, and confirm. See Apple's instructions for managing Sign in with Apple. Deleting the local profile is not conditional on this separate Apple action.
Deleting a Dawnify profile does not cancel an App Store subscription. To stop future billing, cancel renewal in your Apple Account subscription settings. Support correspondence is retained only as needed to respond to your request and meet legal obligations. For questions about information held by Dawnify, contact support@dawnify.app.
Children
Dawnify is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Dawnify’s data practices change. The latest version and its update date will be published on this page.
